Commercial and structural steel

Structural steel for commercial jobs is a core part of the shop: stairs, catwalks, trusses, frames, and related fabrication that has to carry load, fit the building, and last. We work from drawings or field measurements and install what we build.

This is not catalog steel. Openings, existing structure, and site conditions drive the work.

Steel railings

Interior and exterior railings for stairs, landings, balconies, decks, and ramps. Built to the measured opening. We can follow a simple modern line or a more traditional pattern, depending on the house.

Typical work includes handrails, infill, posts, wall returns, and matching a railing that already exists on another run of stairs.

Ornamental iron

Gates, fences, window guards, decorative panels, and custom iron details. Ornamental work is still structural work: it has to hang, latch, and last.

Guard rails

Guard rails for stairs, landings, and elevated walks. The job is to make them strong, upright, and usable, with the spacing and height the opening requires. We will talk through code questions on the specific job rather than promise a one-size drawing.

Staircases

Steel stairs for commercial and residential jobs, including straight runs, landings, and custom assemblies that have to meet existing floors. Some jobs are a full stair. Others are treads, stringers, or a railing package on a stair that is already there.

Custom fabrication

Not every piece has a name. Brackets, frames, repairs, replacements, and one-off fabrications are a regular part of the shop. If it is steel or iron and it has to be made to fit, that is the work we do.

Installation

Installation is included in the way we work. A railing that looks right in the shop still has to land on real floors, real walls, and real fasteners. We install what we build.
